Reports on Iowa farm trends released.
As part of the Rural Iowa at a Glance series, two reports on Iowa’s farm economy have been released. The reports present farm trends by size class, non-family farms, and farm production specialty from 2014 to 2025. Indicators include: number of farms, farmland acres, agricultural production value, net farm income, household income for farm families including off-farm sources, debt to asset ratios, debt usage, and net operating profit margins.
