Report on Iowa economic trends released.
As part of the Rural Iowa at a Glance series, a report on Iowa’s economic trends has been released. The report presents trends for Iowa’s central metropolitan, exurban metropolitan, micropolitan, and rural areas between 2015 to 2025, as well as trends for adjacent states and the nationally. Indicators include: jobs growth and jobs by industry, business formation, wage growth and wages by industry, labor force participation, unemployment, household income, poverty, and gross domestic product.
